Adams County Recycling- 4th Saturday of Each Month

Two recycle bins are located on Mulberry Street between Fair and South Street
on the fourth weekend of each month.

One is for paper, the other for plastic and metal.

The bins usually arrive on Thursday afternoon and are removed on the following Wednesday.

This program is paid for by the Villages and Township from the CUSD4 School District

August 2019 - Recycle Program - Village of Mendon... BECAUSE THESE are paid for by the Villages and Townships in the Unit 4 School District, these dumpsters are for Unit Four Residents ONLY. Please be considerate when using the recycling dumpsters when they are in Mendon or surrounding areas in Adams County. Please do not just dump your cans and plastic in plastic bags in the dumpster and do not tie bags to the sides of the dumpsters. YOU MUST break down cardboard boxes so everything will fit in the dumpsters. Also when the DUMPSTERS ARE FULL, DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS on the ground outside the dumpsters or on the ground BEFORE THE DUMPSTERS have arrived. The company who picks up the dumpsters only delivers and picks up. THEY WILL NOT PICK UP ITEMS LEFT ON THE GROUND. If there continues to be issues, the Villages may consider discontinuing the service for county residents. ARE YOU AWARE that the Villages pay a monthly fee for the recycling program and that they do not receive any income from the recycled items? They thank you for your recycling efforts, but please be considerate of others and the area where the dumpsters are placed.
