Per requirements under the Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140), the following is posted:

The Village of Mendon Trustees and Officers have been charged with the responsibility of providing services that will benefit all the citizens of the village.

We are responsible for  the safety of all citizens
* to provide a clean, dependable water supply
* to provide a sanitary sewer system
* to provide safe streets and highways for the village
* to help promote the businesses of the village
* to provide goods and services for the citizens
* to manage the finances of the village in a sound and responsible way
* to try to make the village a better place to live each and every day.
